I live in CQ, it is a magnificent city, but for various reasons it can also feel too small, even though it is so big! It is the biggest tourist city in China for Chinese people, but seldom visited by foriegners. I love that feels less 'Western', this is one of the reasons I came here.

Fantastic vlog. BUT One Mistake pointed: the reason for CHonGING called FOG CITY is not because of the pollution but for its geological condition. CQ is in a bason around many high hills and is located at the junction of the JiaLin and Yangtze rivers. As a result, water is really hard to be evaporated.

This is real FOG, not pollution. It's near to water, surrounded by mountains. I think a lot of pple who have not being to China 'll think China is terribly polluted, thks to Western Media hah!

Chongqing was the one time war time capital of China during world war 2 because of its location. During world war 2 all the major cities of China in the coastal area were subject to aerial bombing by Japan so the Chinese *ernment relocated to Chongqing. But that doesn't stop the Japanese from bombing. Chongqing was heavily bombed during WWII because it was the seat of the Chinese *ernment.
