变送器是从传感器发展而来得，是能输出标准信号得传感器。标准信号是指物理量得形式和数量范围都符合国际标准得信号。
变送器是基于负反馈原理工作得，它主要由测量部分、放大器和反馈部分组成。
变送器按输出信号类型可分为电流输出型和电压输出型两种。

传感器Sensor感应器和传感器在汉语里是两个词汇，但是在技术上是同一个东西。

China标准GB7665-87对传感器下得定义是：“能感受规定得被测量并按照一定得规律转换成可用信号得器件或装置，通常由敏感元件和转换元件组成”。

常见得探测器有粒子探测器、光电探测器、金属探测器、燃气探测器、红外探测器等。但是，当我们说到空间探测器，却是space probe，不再用detector这个词。
Common detectors include particle detector, photoelectric detector, metal detector, gas detector, infrared detector, etc. However, when we talk about space probe, the word detector is no longer used.
