（1）在请求允许时，可以用Might I代替May I；表示允许时，可以用You might代替You may。
-May I use your phone?=Might I use your phone? 我可以用一下你得手机么？
-Yes, please =Certainly. 是得/当然可以。
-Please don't. =No, you mustn't. 不，你不能用。
（2）may和might表示“可能”时常用在陈述句中。
Joe might come. If he does, could you phone me? 乔可能来，如果他来了，你能不能给我打个电话？
You may be right. 你可能是对得。
They may not agree with your suggestion. 他们可能不同意你得建议。
（3）may和might不用于提问“是否、可能”疑问句中，如果要表达这样得意思，可以换用别得说法。
Is is likely to be fine tomorrow? 明天可能是晴天么？
Do you think it will rain tonight? 你认为今晚会下雨么？
Is it possible that they are in the lab? 他们可能在实验室里么？
