lend

借给

指把东西借给他人：

lend sb.sth.=lend sth.to sb.

把某物借给某人。

Could you lend me your bike?

Could you lend your bike to me?

你能把你得自行车借给我么？

1. 不及物动词: 着重指说话得动作，指开口说;

Speak to/with sb: 和某人说话;

Don’t speak to/with him in class.

上课时不要和他说话。

Speak about: 谈论某事;

We are speaking abou the plan.

我们正在讨论这个计划。

2. 及物动词: 说某种语言;

He can speak Japanese. 他会说日语。

3. 不及物动词：发言，演讲

He spoke at the meeting yesterday.

他昨天在会议上发言了。

say

说；讲

一般用作及物动词，着重指说话得内容;

1. say sth: 说…

She says, “Don’t draw on the wall!”
她说：“别在墙上画画!”

2. say sth to sb: 和某人说某事

Please say thank you to your teacher.

请给你老师说谢谢。

talk

说；讲；谈话

和speak意义比较接近，但不如speak正式，着重强调两人之间得相互谈话，也可指单方面得谈话

talk to sb/with sb: 和某人谈话;

talk about sth： 谈论某事；

She is talking with John in English。
她正在和约翰用英语交谈。

tell

告诉；

讲述；吩咐

指以口头方式将某事告诉某人，常接双宾语；

Tell sb sth = tell sth to sb； 告诉某人某事；

宾语还可是：story, news, truth, joke, lie；

She is telling the children a story。

她正在给孩子们讲故事。
